NOTE: In addition to the basic Lifeguard Certification, an additional Open Water Endorsement is required

RECERTIFICATION Classes are March 10. Please call 856-293-0609 with questions.
New Certification Classses are being held with 2 sessions to choose from: Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21 from 8 am to 4 pm or Saturday and Sunday May 4 and 5 from 8 am to 4 pm.
Participants must be 15 years and older at the start of class and also pass a pre-test in order to take the class. Pre-test includes a swim-tread-swim sequence with no stopping as follows: swim 150yards-tread 2 minutes with no hands - swim 50 yards. You must also retrieve a 10lb brick from the bottom of the deep end. Pre-tests may be arranged by calling the HCFC to schedule. The course fee is $300 and includes study manual & pocket mask. HCFC member fee is reduced to $250. Please bring lunch, bathing suit and towel to each class. Stop in to HCFC to register, payments can be made by cash, credit card or check.
